Lentur Physio

Physiotherapy and sports rehab in Ipoh, Perak

Pain that keeps coming back needs a plan, not another massage.

Your first visit is a 60-minute assessment with a registered physio. You leave knowing what is wrong, how many sessions it should take and what it will cost, with exercises already on your phone.

It feels better for a few days. Then it is back.

That is the most common thing we hear on a first visit. Rest, a painkiller or a good massage calms the pain. None of them fix why it started. So it returns, often a little worse, and you start to avoid the things you love.

  1. Rest calms it but weakens you

Two weeks off running and the muscles around your knee lose strength. The joint takes more load when you start again.

  2. Massage treats where it hurts, not why

Back pain often comes from stiff hips or how you lift. Rub the back and the cause stays.

  3. A printed sheet of exercises gets lost

Nobody checks your form, nobody makes it harder when you get stronger, and nobody notices when you stop.

  4. What we do instead

Find the cause, measure it, and fix it with a plan you can see working. Every visit ends with a re-test, not a guess.

How your treatment works

Four steps, the same for every patient. You always know what happens next.

  1. 1

    Assess

60 minutes. We ask how it started, test how you move, check strength on both sides and mark it on your body chart.

  2. 2

    Explain

We tell you what is wrong in plain words, how many sessions it should take, and what it will cost. In writing.

  3. 3

    Treat

Hands-on work plus exercises. Your plan lands in your phone with short videos, 10 to 15 minutes a day.

  4. 4

    Return

We re-test at every visit. You finish with a test that proves you are ready to run, lift or play again.

Questions before your first visit

Still unsure? A physio answers messages every day from 8 am to 9 pm.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. You can book a first assessment directly. If we find anything that needs a doctor or a scan, we will tell you on the day and write a referral letter for you.

What should I wear?

Loose clothes you can move in. For knee or hip problems, bring shorts. For shoulder or neck problems, a singlet or loose T-shirt helps. We have a private changing room and gowns.

How many sessions will I need?

Most sprains and strains take 4 to 6 sessions. Long-term back or neck pain takes 6 to 10. After surgery, it depends on the operation; ACL rehab is usually 20 or more over 6 to 9 months. You get a number in writing after your first visit.

Can I claim from my insurance?

Many policies cover physiotherapy with or without a referral. We give you an itemised receipt, your physio's details and a short report. Check your own policy for limits before you book.

Does dry needling hurt?

You feel a small prick and sometimes a short twitch in the muscle. Most people say it is less painful than they expected. We only use it if you agree, and there are always other options.

Is there parking and a surau?

Yes. There is a covered car park with 60 free bays right beside the clinic, and a surau two minutes' walk away. The clinic is on the ground floor with a ramp at the entrance.

What if I need to cancel?

Change or cancel for free up to 12 hours before your slot. Late cancellations are charged RM30, except for emergencies.

Do you treat children and older adults?

Yes. We see patients from age 8 upwards. For kids under 18, a parent or guardian stays in the room.

Move without thinking about it again.

One assessment. A clear plan. A physio who checks your progress every visit. Evening and weekend slots are open this week.
